Made to measure in Arizona
Wood & faux wood blinds

Two materials. One mechanism.
Horizontal blinds control light by angle rather than by height. Tilt the slats and you change how much light enters and how much of the room is visible from outside, without raising the blind at all.
The choice between real wood and faux wood is about where the blind hangs, not about how it works.

Hand sample
the real thing
A working sample in the material and finish that you specify, assembled the way it would ship. For the showroom floor, or the client meeting.

Wood is the lighter of the two, which matters on a wide window: less weight on the headrail means a smoother tilt and less sag across the span. It takes stain, so the grain stays visible, and it suits rooms where the blind is meant to read as joinery rather than as a window covering.
Faux wood
Faux wood does not warp, crack or fade with moisture and direct sun, which makes it the right specification for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and any window that takes hard afternoon light. It carries the look of a painted wood blind and cleans without care.
Light control and
privacy
Closed one way the slats overlap toward the room; closed the other they overlap toward the glass, which changes the view in and the light on the ceiling. Between the two there is a wide middle range that lets daylight in while keeping sight lines blocked at standing height. That range is the reason horizontal blinds still specify well in rooms where a shade would be an all-or-nothing choice.

Cord lift and cordless lift are both available, with cordless the safer choice in homes with children or pets. The tilt is separate from the lift, so slat angle and blind height are controlled independently.
